levelling a Pathway

After completion of the drainage for the shower room, attention was turned to the levelling of the front patio area.

With between 80-120mm of increased level required a mixture of hardcore and uniform blocks were used to get within a stable level. This job would have been better done at the time of building and when easy access was available. Now, this hardcore needed to be wheelbarrowed into place negotiating flower beds and pathways. The raised level would be tidied for immediate use with the next phase of gravelling and paving being done at a later date.
